Starting August 21, 2025, gallery twenty-six presents Speaking Bodies – the first solo exhibition of works by Jaz.
The artist’s work explores sociopolitical constructs, real and surreal inequality, and the suppression of female intuition through the lens of “speaking bodies”—human forms inscribed with memory, desire, and conflict. Her surreal and expressionistic paintings and performances give voice to the unconscious realities of individuals navigating in a structurally discriminatory society.
