Sihua Liu lives in Hanshou County in the Hunan Province of China. He has been practicing
art for more than 20 years and has earned an MFA from Hunan Normal University in 2015.
Sihua Liu’s work advocates for classical art, emphasizing a strong pursuit of beauty and
order. He draws significant inspiration from the Pre-Raphaelite and Art Nouveau movements,
particularly the works of celebrated artists such as Dante Gabriel Rossetti, John Everett
Millais, and Alphonse Mucha. This fascination informs his artistic approach, as he seeks to
bridge the gap between time-honored traditions and modern aesthetics. Liu’s art forms a
new aesthetic language that resonates with viewers, inviting them to experience beauty in
all its forms. Liu’s artistic achievements are underscored by his participation in numerous
prestigious exhibitions worldwide.
